Thanks to the good folks at Lee Filters, I recently took delivery of the Big Stopper filter. For the technical buffs, this reduces the amount of light entering the sensor by 10 stops, allowing long exposure shots in good light. I took it out for a field test and managed to shoot a long exposure waterfall. Maybe not the best photo ever taken, but weather conditions were not ideal. Notice how the landscape is sharp yet the water is blurred – enhancing the feeling of movement.
